Microneedling works by creating thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin using fine, medical-grade needles. These micro-channels stimulate the body’s natural collagen and elastin production — the building blocks of youthful, resilient skin. As the skin heals, it becomes firmer, smoother, and more even in tone. 

Unlike more aggressive resurfacing treatments, microneedling works from within, without removing layers of skin or causing significant downtime.

Microneedling can address a wide range of skin concerns on the face, neck, and décolletage, including:

Your microneedling session begins with a consultation and thorough skin assessment to determine the best approach for your goals. A topical numbing cream is applied for comfort, and most patients describe the sensation as a light vibration or mild prickling feeling. The procedure typically takes 30–45 minutes, depending on the treatment area. 

Following the session, your skin may appear mildly pink or flushed - similar to a light sunburn - which usually subsides within 24–48 hours.

Microneedling requires minimal downtime. You can expect mild redness or sensitivity for one to two days, after which your skin begins to visibly improve. To support optimal healing:

•  Avoid makeup, active skincare products (like retinol or acids), and sun exposure for 24–48 hours.
• Keep the skin clean, hydrated, and protected with gentle, medical-grade products.
• Use sunscreen daily to maintain results.

Over the next several weeks, collagen remodeling continues beneath the surface, revealing smoother, firmer, and more luminous skin.

While noticeable improvements are often visible after a single treatment, most patients achieve the best results with a series of 3–6 sessions, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart.
